At Yellow Method, we believe creativity and innovation readiness can be measured, understood, and developed. Our mission is to help organizations unlock their creativity and increase innovation readiness.

Our research-based platform combines years of creative leadership experience with rigorous academic research in collaboration with Aalto University and its Radical Creativity initiative.  Recently, our models have been further developed with Professor Mark Runco
(Southern Oregon University & Aalto University). Our co-founder, Dr. Susanna Rahkamo, drew from her doctoral research on creative thinking and expertise development, identifying critical factors such as questioning, insight, and perseverance.

Pauliina Valpas
Co-Founder, CEO
Experienced leader and serial entrepreneur in creativity, innovation, and human performance. With a background in transforming organizations globally and a deep understanding of creativity as a key factor in innovation, Pauliina drives Yellow’s mission. Her passion is individual creativity and systemic creative development.
Susanna Rahkamo
Co-Founder, CSO
Susanna leads Yellow Method’s research initiatives, applying her doctoral work on creative thinking in expertise development. She is also a seasoned leadership consultant with 20 years of experience. In addition, as a former Olympic-level athlete, she has made a global impact through sports governance.
Milla Kokko
Partner, CCO
Milla is an experienced creative strategist with deep know-how in international brand and concept design, marketing, and communication strategies. She has extensive experience in change management, customer insights, business model design, and various co-creation and collaboration methods. Previously, Milla worked as a CEO and co-founder in a growth company and as a radical creativity expert at Aalto University.
Sade Heino
Designer
Sade is a multidisciplinary designer with a global track record in service design and digital product development. With an MA and an MSc from the world’s leading institutions—she combines creativity with strategic insight to help startups build exceptional products and experiences. Her expertise in human-centered design drives her mission to advance societal creativity through design. As part of the Yellow Method, she shapes Yellow´s innovative product and service.
